Why is my game of fast-moving HD signal with my regular cable audio standard?
While watching HD channels on my HDTV standard cable, the signal hops in rapid motion, and then decreases, but the audio never changes. It is by air or a converter box should not have any interference.
Most cable systems do not transmit HD over standard cable, but requires that you subscribe to digital cable service. There is exceptions, however, but what you describe is unusual – can be a coded signal.
